Especially, Solar Energy with temperature, rain and snow is the most basic and important environmental factor. For the solar load test on transportations and other products such as PV Cell and Housing, Solar simulation system with Full spectrum is installed inside the chamber or CWT(Climatic Wind Tunnel), and do the various evaluation depending on the environmental(weather) changes.

The natural sun will hit the vehicle from various directions creating different radiation and thermal condition. Full or partial movement of the positioning system simulate these effects.
Especially, Diurnal Solar Simulation system simulate the irradiation energy from 55W/㎡ during diurnal cycle to meet MIL Standard. At the heart of our technology is a cutting-edge solar simulation system featuring a shutter system capable of replicating the diurnal solar. Control Software.
This method is valuable in evaluating the effects of direct exposure to sunlight (solar spectrum and energy levels at sea level) Procedure I is useful in determining the temperature increase (over ambient) of material caused by solar loading.
On Procedure I, the potential impact of solar radiation heating effects include:
- Jamming or loosening of moving parts
- Changes in strength and elasticity
- Loss of seal integrity
- Changes in electrical or electronic components
- Premature actuation of electrical contacts
- Changes in characteristics of elastomers and polymers
- Blistering, peeling, and de-lamination of paints, composites, and surface laminates
- Softening of potting compounds
- Weakening of solder joints and glued parts.
Procedure I is designed to determine the heat produced by solar radiation, and effects of that heat by exposing materiel to continuous 24-hour cycles of simulated solar radiation (or thermal loading) at realistic maximum levels typical throughout the world.

ThiSun 2000
A robust 2kW luminaire suitable for an independent solar simulation or system.
ThiSun 2000 is the right product when the test objects and light source are at close range in order to reduce the volume for testing huge transportation such as trains or airplanes.
For example, trains can be several tens of meters long or more.
To accomplish the test procedure of a train with the Climate Wind Tunnel (CWT), ThiSun 2000 is an optimal and cost-saving product.

ThiSun Solar Diurnal
MIL-STD-810H Method 505.7 "Solar Radiation (Sunshine)" Test Procedure Ⅰ
ThiSun Solar Diurmal is consist of a single Metal Halide Lamp equipped with a power output EPS and specially designed shutter. It has passed defense specifications with a high accuracy rate for military supply manufacture.
Using this system, ThiSun Solar Diurnal conducts MIL-STD-810H Method 505.7’s conduction Procedure Ⅰ with solar radiation controlled in one-hour steps and half-hour steps.
ThiSun’s high tech shutter simulates the sun from sunrise to sunset by repeating the process of opening and closing the shutter.
ThiSun’s specially designed shutter, made of a material that can withstand the heat of more than 1000 ℃, allows for uniform and stabilized testing.
